Hello, I'm Emma Battiston

The therapeutic process can enable you to emerge from times of anxiety and mental stress as a stronger version of yourself. The relationship between therapist and client is an important factor is facilitating change, and I offer a warm, inclusive, non-judgmental and empathetic environment for us to work together. My aim is to help clients achieve a higher level of understanding in themselves and work through any difficulties they may be facing.
Having worked in the Financial Services in London for many years I decided to retrain to become a psychotherapist. Having had therapy myself in earlier life made me realise just how beneficial it can be and I wanted to be able to help others in a similar way.

I trained at Regents University in an intergrative way, this means that I have experience in the different approaches to modern psychotherapy. We are all so different as individuals, I believe therapy should be tailored accordingly. Together we can help explore your experiences, the choices you have made in life and the struggles you may be facing.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
1
Schedule a free consultation
It can be daunting to decide to reach out for some support and confusing to decide on the right therapist for you. I want this to be as easy as possible for you and therefore offer a free 15 minute Zoom consultation where we can discuss what is going on for you at the moment and see if we would be the right fit for one another.

Sometimes just feeling heard & understood in a space that's free from pressure & judgement can be the first step in making positive changes in your life.
My aim is for you to leave counselling in a better place than you entered it, feeling more secure and better equipped to deal with any issues that come your way.
